Site Analytics for Mini-Site Visitors
When you visit a mini-site hosted on our platform, we record anonymous visit statistics for the site's owner. For each page view we record the page, the referring website, any utm_* campaign parameters in the link, your approximate location (continent, country, region and city, derived from your IP address by our hosting provider), and your device type, browser and operating system.
- We do not use cookies or similar storage on mini-sites for analytics.
- We do not store your IP address. To count unique visitors, we combine your IP address and browser information with a random value that is replaced every day and then deleted, and store only the resulting one-way hash. Visits can't be linked across days or across different sites.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (
Sec-GPC) or Do Not Track (DNT) signal, we don't record your visit. - Site owners see only aggregated statistics. Detailed visit records are kept for up to 12 months, depending on the owner's plan, and are then deleted.
